Submarine Hull 57M

描述
This submarine hull is designed to be a multipurpose vessel, so there is alot unused space besides the large engine room and the fuel/battery storage space that is located over the keel and under the main floor.

Key figures:
57 meters long
8 meters high, tower included; 5 meters without tower
8 meters wide, ballast tanks included; 4.25 meters without tanks


This vessel is far from being finished and will be updated in the future.

@DerAtomherbst the right side in the picture is the front. The left end is designed to take the engine and propulsion systems.

Excellent hull design! I cleared out the interior and converted it into a fully functioning nuclear sub. Built a mini-reactor powering 2 boilers and 8 turbines. With a microcontroller I setup a dual con system, one on the tower and one inside (with a tower cam).

If I want infinite power I have to limit thrust to a medium electric motor, which gets me to about 4 knotts. I also used a series of small electric motors with thrusters to control the depth. Used the side pods as water storage tanks to setup a slightly positive buoyancy. It works beautifully!
