Traffic Collision Avoidance System

This device receives information from XPDR v2.1 or above locally and from other aircraft.
This device predicts, alerts and gives advice to avoid collisions in short future.

Require 1 additional antenna

This device is not suitable for formation flight, mid-air refueling or being too close to other aircraft.

can you make there be a link to a plane that uses this please?

For prediction to work with airplanes turning, the TCAS will need faster update rate.
To achieve fast update rate, an SSR System or an ATC Tower (with SSR) must be present in range.

Calculation is done using own positions and calculated vector and predicted path VS info of other nearest aircraft.

Got it to work for airplanes when flying the exact same altitude and straight, not if either aircraft is in a turn on collision course. Can you "open the magic box" and explain how the RA works in terms of timing, altitude etc?

You have to setup your own buzzer for the sound.
For helicopter, the condition get some alert is when the helicopter with TCAS is flying near another aircraft that use Transponder (XPDR) set to other squawk.
This TCAS ignores other aircraft that use same squawk code as itself.

Also, update rate will take a bit long like 5 seconds to update when there is no SSR/ATC system in range but update rate will be as fast as half a second when the XPDR keeps talking to SSR/ATC.

i Cant get this to work on 2 helis, i downloaded your pp07-200 and checked, and it seems the wires are installed correctly. Is there specific conditions that has to be met for the alarm to sound? Specific size antennas?
