The USS Potomac is the last River Class Frigate, built for the US Navy as a fleet escort and radar picket. They are cheap and easy to build and maintain and well known for their reliability. They can fill a multitude of roles, with their flight deck and RHIB including: fleet escort, interdiction, anti-piracy, inland patrols, and radar screening.
