Ok, I think the thing that's keeping me from penetrating the heart of this design is the bus connection from your gonzocontroller to your lesser gonzocontroller. What are the descriptions for redchannels 1, 2,3,4. 2 does not appear to be written but is read by the lesser gonzocontroller. You had a horrible mess of speed dependent logic in the lesser gonzocontroller that only seemed to output a single bit, so I got rid of that. There is more state in the lesser gonzocontroller than I understand, 3 counters and one SR remain in the version I'm working on. If I have to redo this gearbox from scratch, what I really need to know is what your intended initial gearing ratio is supposed to be. What is the ratio for first gear? From that I can build you a proper 6-speed box and I'll only need 4 gearboxes to do it.

I calculate the transmission and the number of gearboxes depends on it. and the point is not to do more.

cute build, very tough to work on tho. When I got it, wouldn't start, can't shift out of park. I couldn't just forklift my normal modules in it due to extreme space limitations, so I had to cut and paste a working subset of my modules into your gonzocontroller on the back. That got me to the point of being able to drive it around a little, still only showing park gear. My own builds use every gear permutation available... I have an 8-speed sequential truck that only has 4 gearboxes, one of which is the reverser. How is the thing supposed to work?
