Standardized truck attachment template

This is my second attempt at a standardized truck attachment system. This one abandons the idea of field attachable units and, instead, focuses on setting a standard for interchangable truck modules. It illustrates a 1-u long truck attachment and the positioning of power, data and fluid connections and piping. Trucks intended to carry these should provide colored alignment marks to show the intended placement.

The areas between the skid rails are reserved for plumbing, the areas outside are reserved for suspension clearance.


Update: There is mumbling of a new AISO container size based on a length unit of 13. If that format becomes popular, I will update this standard to accommodate. Any containers made to this standard should still work, trucks designed around this standard might need to be updated to accommodate the new ISO container standard.
