描述
Third mission capability expansion "trailer" for the WT616 Arcturus truck.

As you can see, there's a lot going on in this small package so let me explain.

5095 PCU
598 Blocks
No need to enable supergridding! Works on standard settings. For a clearer picture of how the grid sizes are merged, look up my Lumos spotlight turret if you want to build something similar :)

Mobile Crane addon converts the semi into a mobile crane allowing for recovery and cargo handling of loads up to 125,000kg. Capacity tested at furthest boom extension. Designed to fit onto the back of WT616, the MC125T can be detached and carried around. For best results you should have it on the truck when in use as more mass means more stable behaviour. In demonstration pictures the truck has been left out to flex on the stability of standalone crane ;)

In order to hook to truck, some light preparation is needed. We're dealing with a lot of subgrids so safety is paramount.
1: Verify hitch rotor lock is off.
2: Drive underneath and connect as normal
3: Retract the Outriggers
4: Turn on hitch rotor lock AFTER outriggers are fully retracted.

Controls:
Page 1 has boom and rope management.
1: Slewing ring lock = This enables the yaw on the crane. Lock this when not turning for more stable behaviour.
2-5: Erector pistons on/off and reverse controls the boom raising/lowering. Same for boom extension.
6: Enables free hang of the rope, turning it on reels it close to the boom for transport.
7-8 Rope controls.
9: Hook lock

Page 2 has utility options.
1: projector for lining up the rope with target.
2: Rope brake intended to slow and halt the sway of the rope.
3: Hook autolock on/off
5: Rot-light.
8: Outrigger extension
9: Hitch rotor lock. Use this after retraction of outriggers is complete for more stable transporting/use.

It is pretty damn stable, but under heavy stress it can get a bit wobbly. Such is the nature of subgrids and we must respect Clang. Use the crane calmly. I was not able to get a very, very minor phantom torque out from the subgrid. Therefore I would not recommend use in multiplayer, you just never know with that. Feel free to try though, but I waive any and all responsibility for catastrophic failures to the user. Perfectly functional and tested in SP however.

If you encounter issues, do let me know and I'll see what I can do about it :)

Thanks for the answer! I love your design and I'll see if I can use it for a rover train I'm trying to build. We'll be needing a way to move things and a beautiful, small grid crane would be of immense help!

Don't know. It should work afaik

Does this still work? I understand that some of the nicer designs have been rendered inoperable by recent patches.

I like the idea of a crane that operates with or without it's parent vehicle. The one's I've made sometimes look like a monster truck trying to go fishing.

Of course you can create less clangish cranes, it's not new that subgrids on subgrids gets you going bad. It just looks nice like this so I went for it.

The lil rover is my Mule from a while ago.

I should really upload my crane designs.
There are many I have like this but less KLANGISH.
Can tell you for a fact that many pistons will explode your craft, not even mentioning the Boom Lifting pistons being misaligned what would happen.

What is the vehicle being lifted by the crane. It's a nice little design.
