Indeed, Small block pistons with 3 1x1 tires on bottom

hi there, new to SE. what blocks are used for those stabiliser legs? small block piston?

Thanks for the answer! I love your design and I'll see if I can use it for a rover train I'm trying to build. We'll be needing a way to move things and a beautiful, small grid crane would be of immense help!

Don't know. It should work afaik

Does this still work? I understand that some of the nicer designs have been rendered inoperable by recent patches.

I like the idea of a crane that operates with or without it's parent vehicle. The one's I've made sometimes look like a monster truck trying to go fishing.

Of course you can create less clangish cranes, it's not new that subgrids on subgrids gets you going bad. It just looks nice like this so I went for it.

The lil rover is my Mule from a while ago.

I should really upload my crane designs.
There are many I have like this but less KLANGISH.
Can tell you for a fact that many pistons will explode your craft, not even mentioning the Boom Lifting pistons being misaligned what would happen.

What is the vehicle being lifted by the crane. It's a nice little design.

The physics in this game are fucky so I don't really know if a rotor here or there helps. The reason mine are at the top is to enable the "rope" to be tucked in when packing the crane for transport. Absence of actual rope is driving me insane... Keen pls

This a great model, don't take my comment the wrong way. I just wish there was a way to take cable pulley physics from Medieval Engineers and use them in Space Engineers.

I've operated a shipboard salvage crane for Night Wolf Federation (NWF). Maybe we can compare notes on the crane that built then? I'll pm the youtube link, only if you are interested.

I love this a lot, great work.

Question though, do you think a rotor at the end of the crane hook, with a very loose amount of friction, could make any cargo level out with the ground? Or, would you consider doing it at the top of the conveyor 'cable' to make things react to Newton's law of gravity better?

Wow this is perfect ty!
