Montana Hi-Line: 1950s/60s Version

A backdated version of the Montana Hi-Line Route, featuring:
> 1950s track layout
> GN depot buildings
> GN signals and signs
> era-appropriate road vehicles
> several of the new assets were kindly provided for this project by Rick Grout

To run this route, you must own the Montana Hi-Line route DLC (US or worldwide version).

The backdated route will install as a new route, it will not change or overwrite anything in the modern day route or its assets.

Ownership of the US and European Loco & Assets Packs is recommended, but should not be strictly necessary to run the route.

You do not need the London-Marylebone route that Steam somehow lists in the requirements above. I don't know how that ended up there, I don't even have that DLC on my PC.

In addition to the base route, it is required to download and installation of a custom asset pack (it contains all of the new objects such as depots, signs, or signals).

You download the custom asset pack on my website[golden-age-rails.com].

The asset pack comes in .rwp format, please see the installation guide here[golden-age-rails.com] if you don't know how to install .rwp files.

This route ships only with a very basic QuickDrive scenario (east- and westbound start/destination points, no AI traffic). The reason for that is simply that not enough matching (and worldwide available) equipment is available in the Steam store to make QD interesting.

To create your own scenarios, you'll need to download a scenery template scenario which places the depots and many lineside signs (these are not part of the uploaded route). You can download this template scenario and setup instructions here[golden-age-rails.com].
