Fitticini Alfredo GTS

Difficult, loud, impractical, inefficient, and extremely desirable, the Alfredo GTS was the pinnacle of the late Alfredo Fitticini's designs from the 80's. It has been said its massive engine could cause both hearing loss and spontaneous mustache growth. Only a handful were produced, and although featuring prominently in an acclaimed period detective drama, all examples were thought to have been lost due to their combustible nature. This final example was uncovered under inches of dust and cigarette butts in the shed of an Italian farmer. Unrestored, the car changed hands several times in the 90's before being acquired by the Swiss industrial conglomorate, STATUS, where it underwent a full restoration and became the first vehicle to be tuned at their new state-of-the-art testing facility, the STATUSring.



The massive engine is fed through two functional cooling and intake ducts in the rear fenders and can rocket the Alfredo GTS from a standstill to 100 kph in three seconds. 200 comes in roughly ten seconds on the way to its over 230 kph top speed. Power from this raging macaroni is transferred to the pavement with the W and S keys, switching seamlessly from drive to reverse and back again. Keeping this power straight is a delicate process, assisted somewhat by the optional stability control, and requires careful application of the throttle in curves.
