Roberts Bank Empties, Pt. 1 [GWD141]

Roberts Bank Superport, near Vancouver, B.C., is a major destination for export coal. While loaded BNSF coal trains from Wyoming most often use the lower gradient line via Pasco, eastbound empties frequently return via the Scenic Subdivision. In this scenario, you are the engineer of a Roberts Bank empties train just off the Bellingham Sub at Everett, ready to begin the eastbound journey across Stevens Pass. As power, you have a pair of GE ES44DCs on the point and another as a rear DPU. This is the first of a multi-part scenario and in this installment, you will be making the run across the mostly flat and fast west end of the subdivision. 50 minutes.
