This is a concept that I've had in my head for quite a while at this point.
DR's mapping contest gave me the perfect opportunity to work it out into a small map.
It won't be a winner, but I like it anyway ^_^
Edit: it actually won o_O

This is my third monoportal puzzle, and there's just two portal surfaces.
Believe it or not, but making this idea work took an inordinate amount of thought and effort.
One of the biggest challenges to overcome was to prevent the players from being able to trap themselves, but ultimately I am very pleased with the result.

Two rooms, completely separated and unrelated.
Nothing in one room influences anything in the other.
They are only connected through portals.
Can you reach the exit?

Please report any unintended solutions and I will try to see if I can fix them.
I am aware that there's a few similar but slightly different ways for the last move.
If you find a finicky one first, try to see if you can come up with a nicer one :]
Cube tossing is not part of the solution, so you don't have to try that.

Difficulty: 3.5/10 maybe - it's small and short, but it's a bit abstract.
Let me know what you think!

Of course I won't copystrike you for the music if you record your run :p
In other news: My puzzle game Sokoban: The RPG has been released on steam! Please consider checking it out!

Still can't get over chambers like this. Thank you! 9.5/10!

This is a great puzzle. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to separate the two rooms with glass instead of opaque walls. I was completely lost at first and had no idea what to do for quite a while. Still, very nice puzzle!

Really slick mono logic, well done!

Literally 2 portal surfaces but still took an hour to figure out. Really satisfying once you solve it though. Would've been nice to have a button at the end to open the exit since I ended up with the cube near the exit anyways.

@CostBubbles Your feeling is right! Very impressive though, I must admit :cozycrashfish:

I have a feeling this wasn't the intended solution

Solve 1: I threw the cube out the exit. I wanted to use the piston platform, because it would time correctly, but it's too high off the ground. I also tried the reflector panel, which didn't quite give me enough time without lighting fast cube manipulation.

Haven't given up on the actual solution, and I have another idea, but implementing it is tough.

This one was unique ! The fact that you can't reach the other room without going through the portal is really cool
