But keep:
bm_gib_on_health_below -10000
This way the game thinks there will be gibs and keeps the bodies around for the show, but the limit on the health variable prevents the gibs from ever actually occurring. Personally, I just ended up only using the "bm_gib_on_health_below -10000" in my cfg file and none of the other variables. This way you can have the blood spurts when you shoot someone, but you don't have to watch bodies explode. I feel like it helps me know when I actually hit my target too :)
