STATUS C100 Island Express

描述

Previously, only electric motors allowed for a smooth transition between forward and reverse with the w/s keys. Finally, I've tamed the beast. Drive it just as you naturally would. No changing gears, no pressing extra buttons, just go forward with W, and brake and reverse with S. Just like it should be.

The C100 is built with a focus on stability and fuel efficiency and is designed to go the distance. It remains stable and efficient up to its top cruising speed of 70 mph.

Both sides of the van have power sliding doors, and of course the rear doors open wide as well, allowing you to load a large variety of cargo. Additionally, the floor of the van is fitted with rails allowing easy storage of specialized cargo. There is a mag-all built into the floor as well with an on/off switch between the front seats ensuring whatever you load in the back stays there until you're ready to take it out. When reversing the backup camera in the dash comes on along with a beeper to help avoid running people over.

Thanks for checking out my sweet new van. I hope you will find that it drives like a dream. It was a real challenge fitting both sliding door mechanisms along side the drivetrain, but I am very pleased with how it turned out, and I hope you will be too. I made a real effort to ensure it drives like a van. Surprisingly, this took quite some effort and I spent a lot of time working to get the most efficient rps at top speed, and to make sure the van never revved too high or felt too high performance. I am no professional livery designer, but I hope you like the paint job. Also, thanks to the creator of this sliding door microcontroller. If you have any suggestions, please be sure to leave a comment!

1/8/2020 - Stability Control! mistercynical was nice enough to share his secret stability control sauce. The van should be less darty at high speed, and additionally, should be more stable on rough terrain. Also, increased the time between reverse beeps to make it less annoying, and tracked down and eliminated a rogue paint block thanks to MrNJersey's keen eye (:

Well ... That's the reason to become a hackerXD

Oh. No I don't think so. Create a new vehicle with just the window you want to modify, then open the xml file in the text editor of your choice, then start changing things. And if you figure out anything cool, let me know (:

Seriously, is there any guide on this topic?

How do you make such beautiful custom windows?

No worries, that's actually a good point. They also probably wouldn't have Swiss plates lol. I think I will keep them LHD for the most part, but I did not know the game was based in a specific location. Thanks for the info, I may take that into account later on!

Not trying to be annoying. But I would just like to say that your vehicle would of had to of been shipped from Europe or America to exist in the location that stormworks is set it, because Scotland, where the game is set is right hand drive not left hand drive. Just thought I'd let you know in case you didn't know already.
