My first foray into the world of map making. Hope you like it!

It's not designed to be pretty, it's simply designed to be functional. A killzone style map with a portal to hopefully escape zeds (although possibly still a bit buggy).

I've fixed a few problems with zed pathing, although some issues may still present. Please let me know in the comments of any bugs you find, and I'll collate these and try to fix!

Any features you'd like to see added, please do let me know.

This map is designed to be functional without many of the visual clutter present in other killzone style maps.

One feature being worked on but not yet available is elevators up to the top levels. A portal is present which will take you to the top level though!

I've said elevators are coming, not that they are in the map just yet. I've actually made a small change with ramps off the levels instead of elevators at this stage until I work out how elevators are done. Just enough gap so the Zeds do not follow directly.

Is there ammo every few steps? Yep. There are several clusters of ammo on each level, and there is also armour and ammo at the start of the level so you come out with full ammo at the start of the Wave 1.

@Cap'n Saccade - The idea came from KF-Killzone wabbitedit and KF-Killzone 2nd and such. The only part I've copied is the teleporter, everything else is my own work, even if the idea came from elsewhere.

Is the map inspired by perk level grinding maps like wabbit and killzone second? Yep.

I wanted to bring out something deliberately not pretty, but functional. Wabbit has too much fluff I feel, for what the map is essentially designed for.

I've made no secret that i'm brand new to level design. I've also made no secret that the map is not designed to look pretty. I'm OK with you calling it "Trash", I realise this style of map, especially poorly textured/lit is not for everyone.

This is KF-Wabbit Killzone perk grinding map.
Exactly - elevator and portals. Bet there's ammo every few steps of the way too.

Noticed a section where the lighting volume wasn't correct. Fixed this, and added in ceilings for the start area.

I know there are some areas that don't match up properly yet. Working on joining tiles then textures to come. This doesn't affect playability, just aesthetics :)

Next step in development is going to be texturing.

My goal is to update this reasonably frequently, but not too frequently that those with dedicated servers get annoyed at having to update it every time I make a change :steamhappy:

Stay tuned for further developments. I'm hoping this will look a bit prettier when I'm done with textures.
