Dear All
Not sure when or if at all I'm going to update this mod. As I feel quite happy with the new SCS sounds, that may not have that spectacular roar (read: as head stuck under engine hood), but got a real hum. Feel free to fork this mod and let me know what you have done. :)

PAAG Engines (economic semi-auto shifting)

I haven't seen any mods doing this, so tell me what could be better...

This Mod adds two ECONOMIC low-rpm engines

To get the most out of them you may want to use this custom adapted gearboxes:

For vanilla trucks, Kenworth K100-E, Ford fMax, Freightliner FLB

There's no need to go much beyond 1360/1430 rpm. You won't get more power with high rpm, since horse power does not count in the game, only torque. Kickdown goes to ~1600.
Set automatic shift on adaptive in economic mode!

ENGINES:

PAAG 500 HP:
torque: 2508 @900-1430 rpm
secondary_torque: 2250 @900-1430 rpm
secondary_torque_gear_ratio: 1.5
volume: 12.9
engine brake 1 Step @1.8

rpm_range_low_gear: (750, 1380)
rpm_range_high_gear: (850, 1110)
rpm_range_power_boost: (150, 400)
rpm_range_engine_brake: (1400, 1900)

torque_curve[]: (500, 0.5)
torque_curve[]: (750, 0.8)
torque_curve[]: (900, 1)
torque_curve[]: (1400, 1)

This are low rpm "Boat" engines so one can drive at super low rpm. These makes the truck feel more like a tractor with a low-rpm long stroking engine. They don't stall like SCS stock engines.

I made some Dashboard rattling (engine vibration resonance) sounds @~800/1550 rpm, so we can hear some engine vibration. Haven't seen this yet in other mods. Would love to hear some feedback.

Engine sound is subject of change. Right now I use older Scania Bus K112 sounds found by Momo. Thank you and the original autor. I'm looking for really slow firing sounds which give a feel of a shaking butt. Paccar style. :)

Hey Kimo, a while ago I suggested you make an update to support the new International LT truck in ATS, and you did (splendid <3). Now I'm doing the same thing for ETS2, to suggest you make an update to support DAF XG and XG+.

I still love the mod, and I still can't play ETS2 or ATS without it. Keep up the great work.

I'm sorry, I just can say once more that I know my mod is incompatible with FMod and I wont update my mod because I'm happy with the new original SCS sounds since 1.37.
Just fork my mod and make your own of it ...

It doesn't matter what system you use... your Mods do not work, and are NOT compatible with 1.39.0.33.
I have taken some screen shots of my Mod Manager, actually showing that they aren't compatible, and will not work...
... just need to find a way of getting the photos/pictures to you, to prove my point.
