描述
This version of the buddy is made EXCLUSIVELY for online play! Every player in the online lobby must have it equipped. If you're playing offline, PLEASE use the regular version! It has been listed as a required item for convenience.


Allows you to equip runes similar to those found in Abyss Mode on workshop characters at the start of the match!

The buddy has three modes:
  1. Normal - Select runes to fill up to 8 slots.
  2. Overflow - (Parry + DStrong) Remove the 8 slot limit, allowing you to select any amount of runes.
  3. Random - (Taunt + Special) Randomize your runes based on specific conditions.

Note: does not work on all characters, as they must implement support. For the same reason, base game characters are (at least currently) unsupported. Check the supported characters collection to see which characters currently have support for the buddy.

If the character has support for rune buddy, it will bring up a menu when you start the match. You press Attack on the runes you want to pick, then navigate to and press the confirm button. However, most characters nowadays won't support Abyss Rune Buddy, as Abyss Mode is now compatible with workshop as-is, even online.
