描述
This mod adds three new shirts to the chainmail crafting table. A long and short sleeved scalemail shirt and a golden scalemail shirt. The stats are similar to the chainmail, but slightly heavier with more protection. You can buy the blueprints for these anywhere armour blueprints are sold.

PS. I know scalemail isn't a real thing, there is scale armour and mail, but not scalemail.

It was more of a comment about the term scalemail, which isn't a proper historical term as I understand it. There are a variety of scale armours like lamellar armour and maile which is chaimail as we know it. In my limited research into this, which I did to come up with some balanced stats for it as opposed to chainmail, the first thing I found was a lengthy discussions about how scalemail isn't real. I don't really care either way and I like the way scalemail rolls of the tongue.

Wee armor chat. Scalemail is a real thing! As Saro posted, but it's more commonly known as lamellar armor.
