WW2 Liberty Freighter Jeremiah O Brien [WIP] [Sinkable]

They were slow, ugly, underpowered and their design was 60 years old, but they helped winning WW2.
Liberty ships where produced in 18 shipyards over the United States, they built ships faster than the enemy could sink them. Their basic design allowed to build one in only a few weeks, thanks to welding and multiple parts being built at the same time. If a Liberty made a single cross across the Atlantic, it was a great success.

Last summer I visited the Liberty freighter Jeremiah O’Brien in San Francisco and I was amazed by it. It took me a really long time to build it, but it’s finally here.
