The S-4 Gladius is an interplanetary exploration ship that can fly on all planets and moons even without using its hydrogen thrusters.



It can fly on all planets and moons at all altitudes without using hydrogen. Ascent is very easy, since it can hover at all times on all planets without needing the hydro thrusters. It is even possible to build this on a planet without any platinum or uranium and still easily reach orbit with only the batteries and hydro thrusters. As an exploration ship it is not heavily armored and features only a few interior turrets, 4 custom gatling guns and 3 custom reloadable rocket launchers. The hydrogen tanks provides enough fuel for about 30 minutes of flying under combat conditions.
If you want to print this ship in survival, you will have to add the subgrids yourself, since projectors don't project subgrids. All blocks that should be grinded down into an unfinished state are colored bright red.

Exactly, you can replace the guns with connectors or whatever else you want. Or you weld up the attachable guns I've made (like this one) and attach them to the rotors. I made this ship before I made the guns, I'll eventually update it, use the premade guns and link them in the description.

With empty inventory it doesn't even need the hydros to ascend to space, so unless you fill it all up with platinum ingots, it should be plenty capable of doing so, probably even without the hydros.

I just didn't have enough space for large grid rocket launchers, so I put the small ones on a rotor. The rotor is locked and the rocket launchers only shoot forwards and you have to shoot them manually.
