Forest Wyvern Remastered

is it normal that this wywern spawns in the river canyons of ragnarok ? Just saw one

baby wyverns don't need milk, they eat meat once hatched from the egg

update, they do spawn naturaly, but the spawn rate seems abnormaly low (in extinction map), is this normal ? i only found a single wyvern in around 2 hours of searching and using destroywilddinos multiple times

i'm playing on a server with the extinction map, the mod should work because we can spawn the wyverns with commands without them instantly dying like in unmodded extinction, but it seems that they do not spawn at all naturaly in the sunken forest. how do i solve that ?

They look amazing! (especially at night) i play on the island (for mods testing).
The mod does work in 2025 :) and it spawns both male and female.
Yep the Awesome Spyglass says its'a Passive tame, but it's wrong, they are KO tames.
It's nice they are friendly and fly away when you get too close, but once tamed they can shoot Fire like the Fire wyvern :)
This mod is a nice add-on to have a bit more wyverns in the game, and a little more variation in the red woods instead of just tons of pteranodons everywhere

Mod works, I have no problems with it except I'm only finding females. And I play mostly on the Island. Awesome spyglass is inaccurate. They are not a passive tame, you have to KO them.

This is supposed to be able to pick up anything an Argy can, but it can't pick up Doeds. It was able to pick up a Dimorph, so the grab is working, but I haven't otherwise tested what it can pick up.

Wont turn when landed

Adding to the previous comment, I've been using this mod for years on Ragnarok and it not only works but is a lot of fun. These forest wyverns spawn where indicated, are appropriately powerful, fully breedable, and while yes, they can't walk backwards, divebombing on a small wyvern is awesome and a very fast way to get around the map.

For anyone wondering, this mod still works, and adds the creature to the correct spawn containers. It is not broken, the creature spawns correctly and tames correctly. I've been using it this whole time without issue aside from it not being entirely compatible with Kraken's Valaryan Reins. The Wyvern spawns rather rarely in Jungles, Redwoods, Fertile Chamber, and Sunken Forest ON ALL MAPS. I personally have them disabled on every map except Extinction and Fjordur. I've been playing with this mod for a long time. As the author is seemingly absent, if anyone needs help finding or taming these things, just be patient and explore. You WILL find them, albeit only in specific parts of those spawn containers and rather rarely. They flee on approach. Have fun.
