It might still function but you are better off not trying it. I havent got the time anymore to update my mods unfortunately, but they are up for grabs if anyone wants to continue them or make their own versions, anyone is allowed to do anything with any part of any mod I made.


Tired of Vashnaar conquering half the map or seeing a random Scourge of Aquitaine kill off that dreaded enemy you were looking forward to fighting before you even meet them?

This mod disables the option for Rogue armies to do anything else than sack, meaning that with this active, all rogue armies will do will be roam around raiding and sacking settlements instead of building massive empires. One of the biggest problems with that behaviour, too, is that while rogue armies can get to have 10 or more settlements, once they capture one, they stop being a horde BUT they still dont build more than just ONE army at any point from then on. You'd think fine, that means they cant defend their territory so the other AIs will just devour them then, but nope, for some reason the major AIs tend to largely ignore rogue empires so they go around with their one overpowered army bullying factions while rarely losing their undefended lands, and when the player finally meets them, the player tends to be fielding several armies, so they are no challenge. So all in all, they have destroyed a major faction that the player could've either allied or fought and replaced it with a shell faction. This is something that had been annoying me, and this mod fixes that.

There is one entertaining side effect to this that to me is a big plus, as now when they gather enough money the armies act more like the hordes they are before they take a settlement, meaning that if you leave rogues roam uncontrolled and they get money through sacking and raiding, they'll spawn forth more little brigand armies, which they dont do if they take a settlement and become a non-horde, check images for such an example. I had a savegame of a turn right before Jerrod would take his first settlement and then expand from there. With this mod activated, he instead sacked the city (those are actually skaven and not ruins!) and within 2 turns spawned 2 little armies... guess success attracted more brigands to his cause.

Should be compatible with most overhaul mods and most mods in general given its not a very common table to edit.
