ATS PHYSICS' TWEAK
SCS tire changes made through 1.43 have been included (including Goodyear DLC)

ENABLE THIS MOD above mine; it has much better physics (but mine has tire performance that his doesn't):

DRY SURFACE

This mod . . .
- provides dry-surface tire traction (reduced from SCS' default so tire choice & maintenance have more impact).
- adds ETS2 tire-performance parameters to stock ATS tires. ATS' UI does not show them like ETS2's UI does, so they show in the ATS' tire names.
- changes shape of BRAKE-STRENGTH characteristics. I find it most helpful when "air brake simulation" is enabled because light pedal pressure is possible (good braking control without releasing air); slow-speed gradual braking requires more pedal pressure.(1)
- increases cabin PITCHING (increases allowed forward & backward movement) and lengthens OSCILLATION (reduces damping) of trucks' cabins while accelerating and braking. (Default ROLL remains intact.) This mod enables ATS' trucks' cabin suspensions, which are disabled by default.
- increases MASS of truck (independently of chassis mass). Cabin+Driver= 1200kgm (~2650lbm), wheel+tire=@127kgm(~280lbm)
- provides an AIR-SEAT ride (increased motion of cab camera (driver view)). Note: I like my seat to be agile :)

Tire parameters don't change; surface parameters change.

I looked at the tire parameters on smarty’s wheel pack which only includes wet surface

observe stopping distance and slide slippage
1) of stock SCS Dynamix truck tires (front and rear) without this mod enabled
2) then enable this mod and observe same truck's behavior.

Just an update I've made another account without any mods but the physics mods but the braking distance haven't changed still under 5-6 seconds (around 3 and a half from 60mph to 0).

I stand corrected. Smarty's tires DO contain performance parameters; they will work with this mod, which is why you noticed no difference.

last time I checked his mod (many months ago), it didn't have contain performance parameters

I tested the stock scs tires and the distance is still under 5-6 seconds at 60 mph even over 40 tons.
