I tested with Betabound installed and it causes the loading time to jump dramatically. Starbound is just cursed-- neither mod does anything that would cause it. I updated Betabound to check if this mod is installed and avoid patching the splash cinematic if so, which seems to have fixed it

The Chucklefish splash screen is just there to mask the brief pause while the game loads.
With or without this mod, I get a ~5 second load time. The only difference is that with the mod installed I don't have to see or hear the fish.

This mod does absolutely nothing to change anything in regards to load times. It literally just blanks out the fish image and sound. Unpack it yourself and check if you don't believe me. It's even flagged as a skippable cinematic. Any delay you are experiencing is due to loading other content into memory.

@Doodlinka yeah, i noticed that too, with both Betabound and this mod installed. This mod increases the loading times a lot if a mod haves a custom splash intro.

The chuckle thing has caused me to develop eye cancer and spreads rat aids all over the world. Anyone who likes this evil 2 faced monster needs to think about the kids and humanity please stop simping for fish laugh.
