Card Collector - Playable character

The Card Collector starts with Card Printer, Deck of Cards, Starter Deck, Ace of Spaces and 20/20, they get a free active item card in the starting room and treasure room each floor and they get 1 active item charge whenever they use up a card.

However they won't take any active items aside from Deck of Cards, Blank Card or Prayer Card, and any trinkets that spawn will be replaced with cards (aside from Ace of Spades and Fragmented Card), use the Card Printer to make use of the active items that spawn by turning them into cards.

Should work with True Co-op, if ANY player is the Card Collector active cards will spawn in starting rooms and treasure rooms, but trinkets will still be replaced with cards.

(the charge effect synergizes with Tarot Cloth, giving 2 charges per card or rune consumed)


This mod also includes a Tainted form of the card collector, the Addict, basically the same but pills instead of cards, picking up an active item that isn't pill (or shroom) based will turn it into a single use pocket active item.

Collecting the Birthright item grants Collector a gulped Endless Nameless, a gulped Ace of Spades, Tarot Cloth and Card Reading, the Addict gains a gulped Endless Nameless, a gulped Safety Cap, Lil Spewer and Acid Baby.
