Card Printer

The Card Printer allows you to turn spare active items into cards which retain their effects, basically you get a secondary active item like schoolbag, but it takes up a card slot instead of an active slot, doesn't need any charge and only works once.

Just double-tap TAB (or whatever your map button is) while near an active item on a pedestal and it will be turned into a card.

The generated cards work with Tarot Cloth, activating twice, as if you used the item with Car Battery.

This synergises with Blank Card, allowing you to use the active effect on the card multiple times without losing it.
If you find a good active item that uses a lot of charges you can turn it into a card and basically have it go down to 4 charges.
You could essentially have 3 active items at once by having card printer, schoolbag, 2 card slots and blank card.
And if you're lucky enough to have the card printer and blank card AND find a single-use item (like Diplopia) the effect can be used multiple times.
(though diplopia cards will be treated like jera runes and won't be duplicated by jera/diplopia/D1)

Try not to get little baggy, as it will replace the cards with random pills.


Something to note is that the icon displayed for the card while held can't automatically take your HUD offset into account.
To adjust it to match your HUD offset just open the console (by pressing ~) and type hudoffset X, where X is a number from 0 to 10.

As long as you have this mod installed you can spawn cards with the effect of any active item even without the printer item by using the console command "spawnactivecard ITEMIDNUMBER"
