The Stratoray - VTOL Fast Jet-airship (OUTDATED)

The Stratoray is a highly agile, small, fast and well-equipped VTOL jet-airship for commercial, military and private use. It can hit speeds of 350 knots and the design is based on it being a smaller version of the Atmoray.

The most iconic feature is the tail and wings that move to better angle the engines and rudders for more stabile movement. It’s easy to use and has all the necessary equipment for all kinds of missions.

Turn on Engine power.
Turn on VTOL engines.
Turn on Propulsion jets.
The wings will fold out of the landing position automatically.
You can turn off the VTOL Engines if you’re at high speed with the Propulsion jets.

- There are no throttle levers to adjust the jet engines. They will do that automatically for best performance.
- You can disable the stabilizing, but if you then want to do aerobatic maneuvers, it’s recommended to turn off the VTOL engines and only use the Propulsion jets.
- Keeping the Propulsion jets off, will save a lot of fuel. You go faster with the jets, but have 3 times more range if just using the VTOL engines.
- You can refuel while in the air by using the fuel hose under the nose and use the harness to get down to the ground.
- The Atmoray and the Stratoray can dock together. There’s a docking hatch on the bottom of the Stratoray, and a docking hatch on the roof of the Atmoray.
