you're welcome to take this mod, or the idea, and run with it

Cult of Sotek's Sacrifices now are always granted post-battle in a manner similar to the Skaven food mechanic: the more you fought, the more you get. You won't get a popup or anything graphical, but your sacrifice count will increase.

For instance, upon smacking the first army you're supposed to beat you'll get ~50 sacrifices from the battle alone.

Let me know if this is too many, or too few, sacrifices!
Should be 100% save game compatible: turn on or off mid-game as you wish.

Many thanks to the folks at C&C Modding Den for teaching me how to mod. Anyone can integrate this mod without needing to ask: credit is nice, but not neccessary.

Also, got fun sacrifice ideas? Here's what I've got:
- Skinks gain Unbreakable
- ROR unlock as you do sacrifices. I'm thinking all ROR are unlocked by the 30th sacrifice.
- Confederate a major LM faction
- Confederate a minor LM faction
- All spare slots in armies are filled with Skink units
- Summons a stack of Skinks by a random enemy's capital

@aidenpons hehe it's only fair for your degree to come first, I totally second that! Good to hear you wanted to do something similar at least anyway, it gives the whole idea a bit more legitimacy so to speak :p And who knows, maybe between here and the next summer I'll be able to start working on it aswell... assuming someone on discord will kindly point me towards the correct files and their dependancies (which is my main issue for the moment, I think).

I wish you best of luck for your exams anyway, may the Old Ones guide you >:)

That is indeed something I want to do.

However. as evidenced by the lack of activity on this project.... my degree comes first :sad_creep: So many modding ideas.... enough time to do about one of them a month. :/

Maybe this summer I'll be able to do something.... maybe?

@aidenpons hi man, since you seem quite fond of our lizardbois I'll ask you: ever considered removing RoR from the sacrifice tree (while contextually allowing Teeny to unlock them normally) and replacing those with new sacrifices? This might goes very well beyond the initial scope of the mod but it's a thing I personally hate to the bone, it's way too slow as it is :/

I would personally like to try and add Blessed Spawnings as repeatable sacrifices, but since my modding skills are close to 0 I can actually only speak about it ^^"

Also in favour of toning down the number of sacrifices you get I'll just MAKE MORE EXPENSIVE SACRIFICES :p

Interestingly you're capped at 10 000 sacrifices. I might have to up that. :P

Also I have some silly ideas:
- One sacrifices confederates a random LM faction
- Another sacrifice fills all your armies to the brim with assorted Skink units

Any more stuff you want to throw my way? Both of these are definitely doable, FYI.

Hullo, Aiden! I really love your mod. More sacrifices is always nice, so I can keep the blood flowing. (blood for the blood throne hehe). Maybe you can do some changes for the different sacrifices. Like have one that summons big muscly turtle lizardmen wearing louinclothes. That would be super great. All the other sarcrifice units are totes boring. (but not the little skink guy hero. He is cute :3) Thank you for your service xoxo

if it isn't you *might* get somewhere using KMM and forcing this higher/lower on the mod load order, although this can break more than it fixes
