This mod is in no way, a final product, there are a lot of things missing at the moment, but I feel like this is good for a first release, might as well :/

Can't believe I wasted a day trying to figure out which alt ability I should take...

Long story short I turned the starbound default charge gun which shoots snowballs and was never finished into something that's decent.


The Assault Bouncer, officially known as "Multi Calibre Individual Weapon System (MCIWS)" have different firing modes depending on how long the user holds the trigger, the longer the better.

Its nickname comes from the fact that its plasma bullets ricochet off of surfaces, dealing additional damage along their path.

Comes with 1000% more weapon abuse!

Obtainable via crafting with the manipulator's table.

Or if you wish to spawn it in, use:
/spawnitem new_chargegun 1

Why my Assault Bouncer changed into the Charge gun?

The recipe to make it worked just fine, the weapon itself however is just shooting ice clouds when charged up still.

I don't think it worked, because it's still operating like the vanilla charge gun on my game...

Changed the weapon id to prevent conflict

According to Armok, since both mods patch the same unused item, it'd need to be redone as a new item entirely.

Dunno what that mod does since I don't use it. If it's an id conflict then I'll roll out a quick patch tomorrow.

Found the bug. Project redemption conflict. its a shame, but if you want this gun to work, it has to go.
