Better Florans! (Cuter Universe Fix)

The Better Florans mod aims to recreate the look of the Cuter Florans from the Make the universe a cuter place mod but without lossing the classic charm.

Florans have always had a bit of a overly simple pixle art design considering how they actually look in the official art. The make the universe a cuter place mod is a certain step up in design however I feel it has a couple... questionable design choices. (plant breasts)

So I thought I would combine the best elements of the original Floran design and the cuter Floran design into a perfect blend of new details and old charm.


[Changes from the Cuter Florans are as follows...]

Florans once again do not have a gender, just different clothing styles.

The classic color palette was restored.

Removed the shading lines from the face.

Added the foliage back to the chest area. The chest is also no longer as... 'prominent'.

Darkend the area around the eyes. (Now black instead of dark gray)


[Things saved from the make the universe a cuter place mod...]

The wonderful redesigns of the classic hair styles are only slightly modified to better fit the redesign.

The new emotes from cuter have been carried over.

and lastly the more expressive eyes while I tweaked slightly are generally the same.

Long story short, Florans can call themselves male or female if they like but most just refer to themselves as 'floran' because biologically they are unisex. This is why in vanilla and in this mod the only thing that changes from the 'male/female' options is the clothing type, cleverly by changing the amount of foliage on the chest.

End of story. Just enjoy the mod without getting offended!
