The Auckland Railway

The Auckland Railway is a fictional heritage and community railway based on nearby lines such as the Wensleydale Railway. Starting from the terminus at Bishop Auckland, through Barnard Castle to Middleton-in-Teesdale, the line features everything you would expect from a contemporary heritage railway in the 2010s. Deriving from the Teesdale Network by RSDerek, the route has been significantly altered and reinvented into a mostly single line, fledgling heritage railway.Significant changes in version 1 include:- Bishop Auckland remodelling- New West Auckland depot, West Auckland station platform and adjacent sidings- Modification of track to single line usage- Signalling across the line- Rework of scenery in some areas to fit modern day setting i.e Bishop Auckland, Barnard CastleThe route features various requirements, including:- Weardale and Teesdale Network (Steam)- The Woodhead Line (Steam)- Great Eastern Mainline (Steam)- Settle to Carlisle (Steam)
