The reason is you are activating the Altitude Hold to far away from the desired or set altitude. I have linked a secondary controller in the description which will help prevent this issue.

Yes it would
Up/Down is reffering to pitch so for example if you want pitch to be W/S wire W/S to it for input.
Up/Down Output is what you connect to the control surfaces that it will use to pitch the plane!
Use the other microcontroller I made today!
