My personal elemental and Frackin Universe patched version of Borderlands Random-Gen Weapons, for my personal starbound server, i simply decided to make it public so others could enjoy it as well.

All credit goes to LimeIsFruit for creating the Original Borderlands Random-Gen Mod!


V1.6.2a - Emergency Hotfix to remove the Bio-cannon and Focused Blast from the Alt-Fire pools due to non-functionality on weapons other then the elder weapons they naturally spawn on.

V1.6.2 - Added two additional Alt-fire abilities to the pool of possible choices for Legendaries.

V1.6.1 - Removed three of the additional alt-fire abilities from the pool of possible choices for legendaries, either because it caused far to much screen lag or because the alt-fire simply wouldn't work at all, Fusion Flame still remains however, and more may be added later.

V1.6 - added an extra alt-fire abilities to the pool of possible choices for legendarys, mainly to make them a bit more unique then their rare counterparts.

V1.5 - sorry to all those who downloaded yesterdays 1.4, i apparently in my haste to go to sleep, accidently typo'd a line in a gun generation section which caused the game to crash. proplem is fixed now, so very sorry for the inconveinence caused by this.

V1.4 - bit of a revamp, mostly includes effects and alt-fire skills for Uncommon through Rare tiers, Buffed the Legendary Tier's Crit bonus' and Damage to accomodate for this change, possibly a bit on the OP side now, but at least now the Legendary's really feel like Legendary Death Dealing weapons.

V1.3 - minor hotfix to quickly fix the legendary shotguns not receiving their alt-fire attack + extra FU exclusive stats.

V1.2 - i've changed it so all legendary weapons from the mod now only have the elemental typing, however to make up for the lack of elemental typing on other rarity's, the Legendary weapons also have secondary fire skills. (except for Pistol and Machine Pistol, they only have thier elemental typing since one handed weapons don't have functional alternate fire modes.)

it still needs to be updated, which i am working on in my spare time, however i have been kept rather busy as of late with Real Life commitments, hopefully i'll have it updated sooner, rather then later.

i'll look into it, I've heard that it has some issues with the bounty hunting update, but i'll see about fixing that.

Is there a mod which just adds elemental damage to borderlands guns, not requiring FU

adds rng weapons made of only borderlands parts and has rng names as well.
