If you get a ton of lag like me when an enemy dies, try out this mod! it disables a very GPU intensive particle that plays when an enemy dies, causing a ton of lag on older GPUs. I drop from 60 to 30 when i kill an enemy, or even as far down as 10 fps. makes it a bit difficult to fight lots of enemies, so i made this mod as a sort of hotfix to help!



All this mod does is asset replace the particle with a blank one, effectively disabling it - you shouldn't get any lag when an enemy dies with this mod on.




I suspect since that death particle didnt always cause such intense lag it may just be a bug, and will probably be fixed at some point, but this can help anyone struggling with the lag in deathwish before then.

I believe its something now handled by environment quality. if you are on a lower end computer and have that set lower then you would not need this mod

it still works, but they changed the option in the settings to include the particle, so its really only useful in some specific cases so :summer2019tortoise:

The steam overlay has a built in FPS counter that can be enabled in the settings btw

how can u see the fps,i wanna enable them too(meaning:i wanna see them too),becouse sometimes the death wish bosses doesnt kill me,they kill my fps
