Drilling Rig with Sifter - Finally a balanced automatic extractor?

The Catalytic Drill Rig will extract Bedrock from a planet or asteroid.

Then, it will allow you to sift a little bit of ore from it.

Here's the concept:

You need a bit of ore to tell the sifter what to look for. So, you'll have to at least have found some of the mineral you want to sift - no hiding in the base and churning monster amount of gravel.

Basically, 1 bedrock + 0.00...1 ore => 0.5 gravel + 0.00...3 ore. As usual, density depends on material, gravel contains a lot more iron than platinum, for example.

NOTE THAT YOU MUST PLACE THE ORE BEFORE THE STONE/BEDROCK IN THE INVENTORY.

And yes, this does mean that you'll have to get from a planet to an asteroid in order to build ion thrusters the first time ;)

Hopefully, this provides a solution for a balanced sifter.

The drilling rig will automatically stop extracting bedrock when its inventory is half full, so that there's room for putting samples in. It will work with any of the default ores.

To prevent spam, sifting rigs must be at least 250 meters apart from each other or they will turn themselves off.
