To start
Head into deck house
Head to rear and head down the ladder
Open the boiler door
Hold down light boiler until the fire is lit

To stop
Head to the boiler
Set the 'Fire damper' to 0 and the boiler will extinguish

To use Ship's Tender
Lower the davit and it will automatically connect
Press the 'release boat locks' button
Press the 'davit out' button to extend the boat backwards
Swing the davit over to whichever side you want
Lower the tender until it is in the water
Head down to the main deck and board via one of the boarding doors
Hop in the seat and press 1 to disconnect.
It is possible to reconnect and store the tender back on deck but it is fiddly
