Can be played in Coop but I am not sure how well it will preform

About the mod


This is a defense mission in which you play as the german forces defending a road to Stalingrad against the Soviet forces. You are cold , you are freezing and you need to use every resource you can find.


I made some additions to the mod such as 2 new classes a Soviet flag usable by infantry , a skin etc.

Required mods


You need Robz mod to play the mission, The mission was also made with Assault contact 2 mod but you don't need the mod to be able to run the mission (some details will be removed from the map if you don't use it but nothing major)

How to play


The Soviets come in 2 diffrent sizes of waves (big and medium) and 2 type of them (Infantry and armoured).Size and type are selected randomly by the game.

The map was made with the intetion of making the player design it's own defence by building trenches,foxholes etc. to defend various places of interest which give you MP by holding them. These places can be recaptured if you wish so.
The mission lenght is dependant on the difficulty - the higher the difficulty the longer the time you will need to defend.

Reinforcements

Infantry

Veteran squad - 2 veteran squads (very experienced infantry)
- A chance for a support weapon (Leig/mg34/medium mortar/pak38)

Infantry squad - 2 infantry squads (standard infantry)
- A chance for a support weapon (Leig/mg34/pak38)

Rear line squad - 2 rear line squads (Infantry pulled from non combat troops and wounded troops)
- A chance for a support weapon (Leig/mg34)

Combat engineers - Combat engineer squad (Troops equiped with quality anti-tank grenades and SMG's)
- A chance for an extra squad


Anti-tank team - Anti-tank team (Troops equiped with quality anti-tank grenades and AT rifles)
- A chance for an extra squad
- A chance for a AT gun (pak40 or pak38)

Support weapons

Heavy mortar - sGrW 42 heavy mortar

Medium mortar - GrW 34 medium mortar

Machine gun - 2 mg34 tripods
- A chance for an extra mg (mg42 or 34)

Pak 38 - 2 Pak38's
- A chance for an extra AT gun

A decent mod. Maybe expand the preparation time, cus 20 min is not enough for such a big map. And than also expand the time to defend with like 10 min. For the rest it seems fine, only that to many germans have russian weapons which you cant resupply. Maybe put like 1-2 person per squad with a russian weapon but not 4-5. Still I had fun.

Part 3 : Last thing is the localization folder . The same procedure as the resource stuff except it saves the mission . Again look at this mod for reference (should be something like localization>mission>single>00>mission file which you can find inside localization folders of base game , should have the same name as name of the map) .
You should also add the campaign file (Copy it from this mod open in notepad and change the file name as you want) . You should also add a loading screen for tge mission . Simply name a picture you want as your loading screen preview and put it inside the map folder . That is bassically it .

Part 2 :
When you did that you will need to put all your files inside the mod folder . To make it easier open the mod folder of ths mod (winter in stalingrad) . First thing is mod.info folder . Copy it and open in notepad. Remove the file id lines and rename the name and description as you wish (It is the name and description you see in the mod options ) .
Next thing is the resource folder . Inside it goes your map . There is exactly an order of folders you need to follow to get it to work which you can figure out by looking into this mod (the order should be resource>maps>single>00>map folder) .
