Re-imagined implementation of Relic Entertainment's(TM) Homeworld 2 Carrier Ship of Hiigara with adaptations for the SE universe. Construct and/or repair Frigate, Corvette, and Fighter class ships. Scout for minerals and refine resources. Fully functional to perform remote long-term missions in the Space Engineers universe.


Overview:
---------------

Fully operational: Bring your battle to their neighborhood! A fully functioning carrier, with a large pressurized hangar bay, capable of deploying a sustainable onslaught like no other. Bring fighter and frigate ships back for repair, while others keep the battle raging on the not-too-distant frontlines. When you've conquered, if you're within range, or with the optional upgradeable Hyperspace module, return to moor at Leviathan Starbase (not included) or your favorite space station for resupply to keep the pressure on. Suitable for all space travel.

Repair your fighter ships near the front lines - no need to return to a starbase with this carrier!!

Mods:
--------

None required, 1 optional: space data center (computer racks) cuz it looks cool ;-) If you paste in the blueprint, it'll warn you that you're missing a blueprint if you don't have it. It's ok, they don't do anything, and the computer racks are seriously the only mod I have in there. Very vanilla.


Planetary Surface Operation:
----------------------------------------

The carrier must be launched into orbit using the Atlas Launch vehicle (or similar vehicle) for launch and escape from the gravity of an astronomical body with atmosphere. If the carrier is not constructed or iniitally mounted on the launch vehicle then it must be lifted by the Surface Lift Vehicle from its fixed parked location onto the Atlas for subsequent launch and transport into orbit.

The Carrier has been fitted with hardpoints for the Surface Lift Vehicle. Once mounted on the Carrier, the Surface Lift Vehicle should be operated from the Carrier's bridge. After loading the Carrier onto the Atlas, the Surface Lift Vehicle can return to base.

Due to these planetary launch requirements, the Carrier's engines are off by default. Please note, the forward Rover Bay may also need to be accessible for exploratory missions at landing sites.


Astronomical Mooring:
-------------------------------
A space station or space dry dock would be an excellent place for supply and maintenance of the carrier. The landing gear may be extended for support on a large (or small) landing platform.


Repair Projector:
-------------------------

Because of the recursive nature of the Projector block, the carrier's internal Repair Projector[www.spaceengineerswiki.com] does not contain this blueprint. Please be sure to load the onboard Repair Projector with this blueprint.


Optional Upgrades:
---------------------------
5 available module spaces allow for upgrades of the Carrier to enhance your flight experience as you see fit. Incorporate the highly desired Hyperspace Module for distant travel, add more power with the DIY Power Module, or add more storage for Uranium or Ice containers in a custom Storage Module, etc. The upgrade options are nearly limitless.

The carrier supports the short-term transport of up to 10 executive passengers.


Survival Mode Notes:
-------------------------------
A projected blueprint of this ship will not build the Hangar Bay Door Arm, the Landing Gear, nor the Rover Bay Door in their proper places. With the exception of the Landing Gear, these items can be found at the forward end of the Hangar Bay and at the forward end of the Frigate Bay. Once constructed, they can be mounted into their rightful positions using my Loader(s).

For the Legendary(R) players, I would invite you to construct this carrier in Survival Mode using a construction projector and the corresponding blueprint for this carrier found here: Survival Mode Carrier. The blueprint on this page, however, while identical to the Survival Mode one, is especially good for simply pasting into your world, fully functional (which will include the Hangar Bay Door Arm, the Landing Gear, and the Rover Bay Door).

Thanks!! I don't have a many workshop items for SE. Everything I designed for this carrier is available on the workshop, publicly. It should be these (links above in description):

Loved using this though with a new pc built and actually playing and not with Nvidia Now, I can't find your other mods since your profile is now private :( any way you could maybe put your stuff in a collection so we can find it all?

@34kUniverse Thanx!!! I've had trouble like that with the rover door rotor when mounting the Survival mode rotor into the socket. I had the landing gear locked to a station at the time so the door spun out of control. I'm not sure how to fix that (klang?). I was able to get it mounted correctly at the end tho. I've never had a problem when simply operating the Rover Door with the button panels.

There's an important sequence - don't close the Airtight Hangar doors on the Rover Door until the Rover Door is open. Using the cameras helps with this.

Amazing carrier, only issue is that when the rover doors close the whole ship spins out of control.
