Surface Lift Vehicle
================


Lift ship for hoisting Capital class ships equipped with lift hooks and rigging onto a Capital class launch vehicle for subsequent escape from a planet's gravity. In particular, this ship has been designed to lift the Hiigaran Class Carrier 1256 onto the Atlas Launch Vehicle for escape to low orbit.

Survival ready. No mods.

Engines are by default activated and able to hover in an atmosphere-rich environment (atmospheric engines only).

Once the Lift Vehicle has coupled to the Capital Class vessel, the vessel can be lifted from it's mooring location. It can also be lifted from the mooring point on the Surface Lift Vehicle, provided the landing gear or anchor rigging of the Capital Class vessel are unlocked / disengaged prior to the lift.

Landing Configuration
-----------------------------

A landing pad or platform should be constructed with landing pads to support the Surface Lift Vehicle. The vehicle could be upgraded and outfitted with landing gear provided they do not interfere with hoisting connections and rigging.
