This has some math errors for true wind since the new new weather in 1.0.

I cannot help much when it comes to displays, as I haven't played in a long time. Not even sure if my creations still work. But you should be able to dig around and find a way to pull the data you need.

If I recall correctly the wind direction is pulled from the wind sensor (facing the bow), and the sensor outputs a value from -0.5 to 0.5. But that is compared against the compass (facing the bow) to output the true direction from the microcontroller.

Hey there. I love your true wind speed calculations and such in here, but I'm kind of a noob still at incorporating fancier micro controllers and data sets into a design. Whats the easiest way to get all this information onto a monitor or other display, do you know? And for stuff like wind direction, is that inputing it in a 360 degree heading? Thanks!

Just what I needed, I looked up the formula for TWS and gave up there. Now I know how windy it is no matter my speed!
