描述

I love how earth looks from satellite and this love was one of the reasons I started making this mod. This mod tries to emulate that look that you get when viewing earth from satellite. Visibility comes second, beauty comes first, so beware of that.

About lite version:
This is lite version of the main mod. Lite version reduces amount of textures and their placement, removes topology to retain multiplayer and achievement compatibility. It retains dynamic systems and graphics, some of textures, and etc. If you don't care about those things, I recommend using main mod.



Font used in screenshots is now separate mod, check it out by pressing on a image above.

I compiled a list of what's in for a treat inside this mod:
  • 12 completely new textures.
  • New graphics.
  • Dynamic atmosphere, political mapmode and water.
  • Sparkles effect on water.
  • Dynamic, simple borders.
  • New map font.
  • New winters.
  • New rivers.
Compatibility:
  • Achievement compatible.
  • Multiplayer compatible.
  • Windows, Mac, Linux compatible.
Performance:
  • Performance is worse, at least judging by my unscientific measurements.
Future of the mod:
  • It certainly is rough around the edges in some areas due to how many places can get overlooked. I still want to do something about steppe area where textures are not up to par with other areas. If you find some weird looking places, please let me know.

When you zoom in close, the political colors fade to very transparent presumably to show off the fancy new terrain textures. Any way to disable that? Makes different territories too hard to see for me

Fan of novus graphicus, really like the terrain and water for this one but the transparency just feels off in ck2. Is there anyway to get rid of it and make the political map colours look like the ones in novus graphicus?

I made a submod for this that removes snow and ice, because frankly I found it to be quite ugly having them overlayed.

why is it whenever i reload the game the snow isnt there (if its the time snow should be there) and only reappears in the next time it falls??

what would I have to change in order to make the political map mode completely transparent when less zoomed in? Currently it seems to go full transparent only on the furthest zoom, but never I am never really that zoomed... how can i make it so it maxes out at two zooms out?

Are you still planning to add a separate version of the mod that removes snow on the political mapmode? Everything else looks extremely good, but the snow just bothers me too much. It's the only reason why I'm not using this mod. Thanks for reading.
