[.7] Compact Steam Tractor

描述
This tractor is 4 small blocks less wide than my last. It is, in fact, stronger than my last as well, with the use of cannon wheels. It can travel at 10 mph.

A tractor powered by Peaceman's steam engines. This one can climb decent inclines, pull huge loads, and is fairly maneuverable. All four wheels always remain on the ground due to a pivot in the front axle. It has a differential, allowing it to turn easily.

Control of the tractor is done by using the controllable drums, as well as the connection on the engine to control it.

They can be double headed. I recommend adding rope ends to the steering bar on the rear tractor and hooking them to the front tractor. If you use the controllable drums to steer the rear tractor, set the buttons to different buttons than those to steer the front.

You've got to take control of the engine, turn it on, and throttle it up.

great design just wish it was a bit faster. it has some troubles with hills due to its slow speed

Is it possible to create a offroader using this type of model? as in the wheels have suspension and use a rope cog to turn create speed or a propeller?

yea. for me i just use one and i cant use any others at the same time. but one is well over enough for me usualy.

There's more than one because when used together their power adds. You should check if you have all the mods, and are not spawning it clipping into anything.

well in my worl when i spawned it in the stearing part just spun at turbo speed for no reason and bounced the creation around like mad then my game crashed. that was the first time i spawned it in. the creation might not need fixin it could just have been a faulty spawn. also on your tractors why are there more than one controlable rope drum on the stearing?

I've never had it crash my game, I've never heard of it doing that before. If you give me more information, perhaps I can tell you why it's doing that.
