Happy birthday, Aground!

A year ago, this awesome game was born out of David Maletz's imagination.

A group of modders got together and put a bunch of celebratory items into gift boxes, gave them to NPCs and enemies to give them to you, the player!

What to expect:
  • Gift boxes - All the core game NPCs give you one gift each (except for Innkeeper, cause it would cost him money, you know?). Enemies also might drop gifts (limited time only!).
  • Gifts! - a selection of ten celebratory items you might find in the gifts. Some of them are useful, some of them are useless, some of them are even a bit OP, but all of them are fun to use!
  • Hidden items - once you get all ten items, the fun does not stop - there is one more item you can craft, one little snack to pick up and two items that you need to drink your way to.

Also don't forget to check the Deathbourne mod - jgrable634 has also added a small anniversary surprise from Deathbourne itself!

Yeah, I still have not played through the whole of magic update, so I do not know which bosses should and should not be affected. Enjoy while it lasts, I will fix that soon.

Cake gun affects the cultivator too, and glitches the quest.

Maybe next year we will add new kind of ammo that can turn them into GIGANTIC BOSS CAKE :D

I'm sad that it can't turn the old one or mirrows into cake anymore, but at least the glitch is fixed. Thanks.

I just uploaded a Mirrows fix (now they only give you gifts after you turn in the innkeepers quest, so that should clear any issues with freezing) and cake gun nerf (it now does not work on some of the early game bosses - I still have to play new magic content, so I will add those bosses to the exception list as I go).

As for the gift opening, this is unfortunate side effect of the fact, that drops cannot have different icons. So while hotkeys will work on the "NPC gifts" (since those are a single item with varying names and icons), it won't work on drops unless Terra changes the core a bit :)

Hey, you know if you assign a Treasure Chest a hotkey, it'll place any type of chest regardless of type? Can you please do something like that, so if I hotkey a gift, it'll open any gift regardless of type?
