Cortex Assault

Back in 2017, I made some code that allowed bullets to act more realistically, now they even leave real bullet holes in the ground.

This mod has some basic particle effects that make laser and incendiary weapons possible, they are a spectacle to look at.

All factions have their own behavioral AI which will make them act differently depending on the situation, they also come with custom barks and voice lines!





The Order of Dark Steel is the only human faction in this war, they will protect earth regardless of what that may take.
They do not have the technology that all other factions have, but their power armor and heavy .50 caliber guns can rip through any robot, alien and zombie in their path.

Formed sometime around 2077 in the surface of Mars, the United Technologies megacorp owns 20% of the known universe and have exploited all planets they own for personal gain, regardless if the planet was populated.
Now they have set their sights on earth and started deploying robots, clones, zombies and elite mercenaries to take it over by force.

This monsters are a result of failed human cloning, they are not too smart, but they dont fear death and have weapons, they came to earth to create a new clone-only paradise and you are standing in their way.

There are 2 other factions planned to join very very soon.




Currently the game has 27 weapons, all of them are distinct yet balanced.
