that's something i didn't think about, even if it happened with some other plugin. I'm copying this in the description!
- First create a new text document
- Open the js file in notepad
- Click SaveAs and then at the bottom it says coding (I assume that's what it says in english), from there pick Unicode.
- Then save it over the old jsfile
That's how I got it to work finally, thanks @gapogalassia for your patience in trying to help. I still dunno what exactly it is that caused it not to work, but I'm so glad it does it finally, will definitely be putting this plugin to good use ;)

Anyway, I tried putting the plugin in a new project and it didn't give me an error, may I try sending you the project?
there [www.mediafire.com]
I'll test the plugin asap when I have access to my pc, meanwhile other questions time:
1) do you have any other plugin that may interfere with this? If yes, try deactivating all other plugins and check what happens
2) in the folder script, go to attack -> attack_commonbattle.js
Open that file and search for BattleMusicControl. If you don't see anything, it's possible there's an error in the files or some change between srpg studio version
3) try it in another new project, to be sure (even if the one you're trying is clean)
sorry if I make you do too many things, it's the only thing I can do until I'm home
At least, the script is understandable enough even without javascript knowledge
Is a pretty good solution, but not the ideal. The software should have a command that says "force unit battle theme" or something, and it should have been on the vanilla software, Srpg Studio lack many commands. Thank you for your work tho.
