NOTE:
I am no longer maintaining this, mainly because Planetbase was neglected by it's developers and thus doesn't interest me anymore (since there are similar games with more content out there). If you want to modify and reupload this, please credit me.

Original Description:

This is a little project I spend some time on. I use the desert planet and modified it to behave like mars. This means low atmospheric pressure and light amount. You don't have to complete them in order. It contains 5 ARES missions, but please note that they are not from Andy Weir. If there are any bugs please tell me. Oh and I take suggestions for the upcoming missions. I received criticism that the medical alert is annoying so I removed it where you can't get medical supplies.

Were these made by a 10 year old? Easiest thing I've ever seen, and boring after the 1st day........first 3 challenges...lemme try the 4th for a boring laugh now.

well thats a fair feedback. while I do not plan to put greta thunberg on the mars I would work on more missions if I got ideas. the issue though is that I can only set starting conditions and goals.

Tried the first one. A bit pointless because it's way too easy due to too many resources and no real threats. The periodical blindness (sand fog?) is a bit annoying.

Maybe you can make it a short but hard challenge, with a little story line, like the king of Spain, Alex Jones, and Greta Thunberg got stranded on Mars in some weird streak of randomness and now need to survive until rescue arrives. A full rescue mission by NASA takes too long, so Elon Musik, John Carmack, and Bono Vox volunteer to bring more resources and help building a temporary base. After a few days Greta Thunberg accidentally opens a portal to hell by saying "I dare you" 3 times in a row at full Deimos and gets kidnapped by the devil himself. Now you need to build a BFG to destroy the portal before the devil discovers what he has done and reconsiders. You get the idea.

i am happy to see there is still mods made for this game
