Enhanced Greatswords

描述
This workshop submission is a remake of the Greatsword models from Neverwinter Nights. They now support normal and spec information. There are 60 models in total, which will override the existing Greatsword models. All of these pieces are modular and can be mixed and matched, which is in line with the base game setup. Please make sure other modules which may conflict with this one are uninstalled, if you wish to use this module.

But im not here to argue about some insignificant change to a PW you likely wont ever play.

Just suggesting that beamdog's own assets be compatible with their own NWSync system

the game is 20 years old.. i dont think any pc made in the last 10 years will have any problems with some new models/textures

The point is about bringing new and better looking assets to the PW. im 100% confident my player base wont mind new base assets to improve the dated look of nwn models..

Because there's really no point and clearly just forces it on people even with weaker computers? I don't really see any benefit in forcing it and apparently neither did Beamdog in making it part of the base game.

Why not? They are clearly better looking assets (made by the game's developer too..) for base items in the game. No different than any other override you might include in your mod that you want all users to see

But why would you make your players use this? Isn't it better as voluntary upgrade?

@Mordaedil im not talking about for my own local client. im speaking for the PW i host which uses NWSync

Why are you using nwsync for it? You should just be using these models as a local override.

Alot of these enhanced model are above 15mb, which is too high to be included in nwsync modules. please reduce file size ??

Would be nice if they kept updating more models but it seems like they already stopped.
