Yet Another Economy Mod Lite

Lite version is easier version of Yet Another Economy Mod (hard economy mod for American Truck Simulator). If classic YAEM is too hard for you try Lite!

Yet Another Economy Mod is hard economy mod for American Truck Simulator / Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Brings many changes to economy model and makes game much harder and longer.
If you think that default economy is too easy - YAEM is for you.

But remember - if you're looking for realistic economy - YAEM is not what you're looking for.
It's balanced, it's hard, it's much more realistic but not real. It is still a game. :-)

• 2x less experience for driving with cargo (0.6XP per 1KM)

If you find YAEM or YAEM Lite default bank loans or police fines as little too harsh you can alter it with one of addons.

• Lite Bank Addon - installments of loans are 2x easier to pay but it took 2x more time to pay all of them.
  
• Lite Police Addon - police fines are 2x smaller and you got 10 minutes to find place to sleep. Same chance to be caught though.

Example of usage:

• YAEM Lite + Lite Police = easier economy + hard loans + easier police fines
  
• YAEM Lite + Lite Bank = easier economy + easier loans + hard police fines
  
• YAEM + Lite Bank = hard economy + easier loans + hard police fines
  
• YAEM + Lite Bank + Lite Police = hard economy + easier loans + easier police fines

Your choice.

Remember to set correct loading priority. Addons must be set with higher priority than YAEM / YAEM Lite.

YAEM have to be on top of the list, with highest priority possible!
In other case another mods can override economy settings!

Best way to use my mod is to start new game with it. If you start using it on existing skilled profile your progress (especially driver level) will be reduced!

Also you won't be able to get full experience of this mod, because best part is starting from scratch and driving for your first truck, garages and drivers.

While playing with YAEM you need to want to manual park your trailer, to drive carefully, to be a true trucker. Penalties are much more painful, payments much smaller, first own truck or garage is a dream. You can’t expect that something will come fast and easy. You need patience.

After 20 finished deliveries you’ll get message that you can get your first bank loan. Do not do this. It’s too early. Keep making deliveries and earn at least $60-70k. Then you can get small loan to buy your first truck. It should take about 30-40 hours of playtime.

Now you have to earn some money to pay loan and upgrade your garage. After upgrade it’s up to you - you can drive your own beloved truck and earn more money, or you can hire first driver and make even more money with him driving your truck while you drive quick jobs.

At this point your life should be easy - just make clean deliveries, pay daily installments and earn money for next truck.

Good idea is to put skill points: first in long distance, next one in some ADR (explosives for example), and three to each next skills but eco. Leave eco skill untouched until you buy own truck. It’s useless before that.

Remember to set "realistic fuel consumption" option in settings to ON!
