Well for building placement on this abquintess figured out that main change :D but he seems to like to share too. It like anything else just requires alot of testing to see what works, which is why i went minimal in the Bounty Quest mod on platform placements. NP man LMK if you need help with it ^^

For instance on flat terrain i could place the campfire on this one but on the mountain i could place the other platform and not this but the campfire wouldnt work on the round platform on the mountain so i made a special Merc Tent Campfire by adding the campfire peice and effect to a merc tent and now its placeable! and works for both shelter and cooking lol.

That's ok. I was going to do something similar for my mod (and credit you ofcourse!), but I might just wait a bit.. plenty of other things to work on in the meantime :)

Alot of the placements require more than just that one slight change and depending on where your plaform is placed (the terrain under it) like a mountain can also effect something that would other wise be placeable on the platform on flat ground.

Well you could make the same slight change to existing buildings but i think it would require alot more play testing because everything in the game would be effected.

I see. You couldn't get it to work with existing buildings? Only duplicates?

This version contains no placeable buildings but certain things can be placed. I could add in a few buildings for placement on this version by merging in the ones in my Bounty Quest mod which has a custom Merc Tent/campfire, stormhouse and small shack. That seems the best way to do it as adjusting the footprint on certain furnitures still doesnt enable placement. Alot of things that are placeable have to be rotated with < > before they appear green and can only be placed at a certain angle. Anything in particuliar your looking for? I could see if it could be made placeable :D
