描述
Telescopes for your viewing pleasure. Three varieties crafted at a wooden workbench.

I made this mod a while ago when I realized that there weren't any telescopes in a game about space. They have since added one, but it's big and clunky and points sideways. Mine point up at the stars.

There are 3 varieties: Brass, Chic, and Cool. They require glass and one bar of copper, durasteel, and titanium respectively.

You are right. It would be cool if using them hid everything except the parallax untl you press E again or move away.

That way they would have the cool functionality of letting you check out the game's cook backgrounds.

I certainly came here thinking that the telescope would show part of space, like when we are on the ship, too bad it doesn't work like that hehe, nevertheless, they are nice.

Heads up: this mods causes conflicts with Frackin' Universe. Was playing more of my first FU playthrough today and couldn't find torches in the crafting menu. The Default Unlock Checker identified this as the problem. Uninstalling fixed it.

Heads up for Frackin Universe users: after the latest updates, this mod is causing issues with default assets loading into the game if you have FU installed

It would be cool if these worked. Mabey it would allow you to see the different planets in the system from the planet?

can you please make some larger reflector telescopes? Or some observatory class telescopes, because i am building a massive observatory on a planet and i would love to have more to choose from

... why did telescopes have to be modded into this game?

I'm not asking why you made the mod. That I understand quite well. What baffles me is that they didn't come pre-packaged. A thousand pieces of furniture and no telescopes in the game all about exploring & building homes in space.

They look quite good, by the way. All three of them. I guess Zote really is mighty after all. A mighty talented sprite artist.
