描述
The Settle to Carlisle line sometimes provides a usefull diversionary route for WCML passenger traffic, though the electric 'class 390 pendolinos' need to be hauled over the line by specially equipped diesel locomotives. Today driver you will take charge of a specially equipped class 70 Freightliner and collect a diverted 390 pendolino from outside settle and deliver it back to the WCML at Carlisle. Duration : 101 mins Difficulty : Medium

A nice scenario, something a little different, but it could've used a little bit more AI variety in the last stretch between roughly Appleby and Carlisle.
A bit more AI traffic would've been nice too, given that a part of the WCMl was closed.

The class 70 and 390 should not couple together therefore the coupling override needs to be switched on and because of this the signal box does not register the 390 as your consist so can switch the points against you if you hang about too long ?? a small glitch but worth overlooking for a true to life senario. Adhering to the speed limit still gives enough time to get clear so just pull ya finger out and get on with the job !! ;-}

Had the same thing as Jaffacake, nice gentle run then as you pass the signal box the 37 gets a clear signal and starts up, runs into the side of the Pendolino. I'll go a bit faster this time...

for anyone else who found starting this impossible, turn "coupling override" on in the railworks settings

A good scenario. It was a bit dull at first (quite repetitive driving) however there were (especially in the last half hour or so) adverse signals etc. AI was fairly realistic as well. Overall. Job well done.

Just run again, not a problem, one of the best senarios out there. =WKV=Jaffacake may be you should learn how to drive the class 70

I've had a couple of problems with this:
1: Class 37 startups and crashed into the Pendo at the start of the scenario doesnt wait until the line is clear, I restarted the scenario and just thrashed it intime ingnoring speed limits
2: After the Ribblehead viaduct (single line section) I get a derail....I gave up after that
